Our textbook choice, writing goals and objectives, and developing a Christian philosophy for each subject are all included in the curriculum plan that teachers write.  Much thought is given to this.

How do We Choose Textbooks?

We look for textbooks that meet the following criteria:

  • meet state or national standards.

  • present a biblical worldview.

  • are written by author(s) whose names appear on the book rather than authors who have endorsed a publisher.

Bob Jones University does an excellent job of covering all three concerns.  Any necessary adjustments to other texts are made by the teachers as they write their curriculum plans.  CCS also uses A Beka, Saxon, & Positive Action Publishers.
